A Fun and Inclusive Alternative to Traditional Sports

The West Virginia Archery in Schools program provides thousands of public, private and homeschool students in grades 4–12 from more than 300 schools across the state with a fun and inclusive environment where they can be active, make friends and learn how to work in a team environment.

Become a Certified Basic Archery Instructor

To participate in the West Virginia Archery in the Schools Program, your school must have a NASP® certified Basic Archery Instructor, a certification offered by the WVDNR throughout the year at various locations around the state. Classes are completed in one day (8 hours) and are free to attend. Participants are responsible for their own travel and meals.
